Preparation before starting the tank sealing machine

Before using the can sealer, you need to make the following preparations:

1. Before a new machine is used, an electromagnetic safety switch should be installed at the power supply to reduce the risk of power outage.

2. Pay attention to motor steering. If the steering is wrong, the steering can be changed by changing the positions of any three wires.

3. The new machine needs to focus on adjusting the automatic tank unloading system.

The can sealer needs to adjust the nut below the “foot pedal support hinge” to ensure that when the “foot pedal” is depressed, the lower edge of the “can support shaft cam” is moderately cut into the upper edge of the “roller” through the “push rod”. If the spacing between the two is insufficient, the volume seal cannot be activated; if the spacing is too large, it will lead to repeated roll sealing, inability to automatically unload the tank, or uneven force on the tank body causing the tank body to slip.

Hold with one hand “tank support shaft” and loosen with the other hand with a wrench “tank support shaft adjustment clamping screw”. Press “foot pedal” to raise “can tray”. After placing the empty can, adjust the distance between the top of the “can tray” and the raised upper end of the “roll head” to the bare can height minus 1/8 inch and subsequently lock “clamping screw”.

4. Adjust the gap between one roll and the rolling head.

Most of my country's food packaging machinery is single-machine equipment with low technical content and automation level. It rarely uses new technologies, new processes and new materials, making it difficult to meet the current needs of food industry development. Some food companies have had to spend huge sums of money to introduce complete food packaging production lines with advanced foreign technology, high production efficiency and high packaging accuracy for technical transformation, resulting in a large part of the domestic market share being occupied by foreign brands.

There is still broad room for development of food packaging machinery in my country, and its packaging technology level urgently needs to be improved. Semi-automatic can sealing machine is a necessary equipment for metal can processing. It is mainly used for leak-free roll sealing of the can body and bottom of circular cans.
