Features of the working principle of the sealing machine

The working principle of the can sealing machine is to manually place the can between the sealing machine pressure head and the support plate or lifting plate to press it together, and then complete the can sealing. There are two ways to seal the edge:

①The tank body rotates with the indenter;

②The tank body is fixed between the indenter and the support plate and cannot rotate.

The latter can sealer is more suitable for sealing juice-containing cans. Because the can body does not rotate, the liquid in the can can be prevented from splashing under the action of centrifugal force, resulting in insufficient net weight of the product; the sealed can enters the sealing chamber of the sealer, and the air in the can is extracted through the pipe connected to the vacuum pump, and then a secondary seal is performed.

This machine has the following functions: can be sealed when there is a can without a lid, and automatically shut down when there is no can without a lid; automatically shut down when overloaded; cannot be started when there is insufficient vacuum; and can realize automatic shutdown. The production capacity is 50 cans per minute, the diagonal of the can body is 130mm, and the can height range is 22~96mm.

Such can sealers are simple in structure, easy to maintain and operate, small in size and light in weight. my country's aluminum can production began in the 1980s, and after more than 20 years of development, it has formed a stable manufacturing capacity. It currently has 26 canning production lines with an annual production capacity of more than 11 billion cans. In 1996, only 500 million cans were sold in China, while in 1998, national can consumption reached 600 million. By 2004, the total national demand for cans was about 800 million and the consumption of aluminum was about 180,000 tons. However, judging from the current consumption situation of aluminum cans, our country's per capita consumption is only 6, which is a huge gap from the US average of 400 per capita. As economic growth and consumer consumption levels rise, the amount of aluminum used in can sealers will continue to grow.

With the continuous improvement of technologies such as sealing machinery in tank-making companies, the thickness of the aluminum strip of the tank body has been reduced from 0.334 mm in the last century to 0.250 mm; the thickness of the aluminum strip of the tank lid has also been reduced from the original 0.39 mm to 0.24 mm. In order to improve production efficiency, various can manufacturers also use advanced technology to continuously improve the molding speed of cans. In the mid-1980s, the production capacity of American canning lines was about 800 cans/minute, and today it has reached 2,000 cans/minute.
