Canning Equipment What HVAC Equipment Does! The spiral air duct is a thin-walled tube made of rolled metal strip with spiral seams. Its tube body is round, no welding is required, and it is airtight and watertight. It is mainly used for air supply and bulk material transportation, replacing traditional white iron pipes (i.e. hand-sewn iron pipes). It is a fully mechanized product in the air duct system, and the straight pipe does not need to be manually hammered to form. Its main uses are as follows:

(1) Air supply and ventilation: including fresh air transmission and exhaust treatment. The application range is extremely wide, such as factory workshop and production site air treatment. Due to the generation of harmful gases, they need to be discharged outdoors, and at the same time, outdoor air needs to be transported indoors. At this time, large-flow and low-pressure air transport pipes need to be used, and spiral air ducts are practical. Galvanized iron pipes are used under normal conditions, and stainless steel pipes are used in cases of strong corrosiveness or extremely high humidity.

(2) Refrigeration equipment delivers cold air. The common one is the central air conditioning duct, which needs to be insulated. The spiral air duct can be directly covered with insulation material, which has a beautiful and elegant appearance.

(3) Fume exhaust. Restaurants, canteens and hotel kitchens generate a large amount of fumes that need to be discharged, and circular air ducts are used as fume exhaust pipes. The spiral air duct here should be called the fume duct.

(4) Dust removal by canning equipment. Some factories have a lot of dust in their production workshops and require special dust removal devices. Among them, the high air volume duct may adopt a spiral air duct.

(5) Bulk conveying of canning equipment. In the production process of some factories, loose granular materials need to be transported, which is especially suitable for the transportation of materials such as low-specific gravity foam plastic particles. The spiral air duct has the characteristics of low cost and good effect.
